Transformers 2 movie review Thread

Hindi natin makakaila na blockbuster movie ng taon ang "Transformers 2". The special effects were awesome and some would greatly appreciate it. Some were happy and satisfied, some were disgusted.

Brief summary:

Decepticon forces return to Earth on a mission to take Sam Witwicky prisoner, after the young hero learns the truth about the ancient origins of the Transformers. Joining the mission to protect humankind is Optimus Prime, who forms an alliance with international armies for a second epic battle.

so dahil ako lang ang nandito, ako na lang ang magbibigay ng insights. hehehe

Special effects

Wala akong masabi. Isa ito sa mga hinahangaan kong sci-fi movie simula nung lumabas nung 2007 yung part 1 nito. Nakakabilib. Hindi ako makahinga o makakurap everytime magta-transform ang mga autobots at mga decepticons. Grabe astig. I wish i got a car like bumbleebee and everytime i'm calling his name, he is ready to save me. Pero hanggang wish lang yun.

Storyline

Kung ire-rate ko ang storyline 1 the lowest 10 the highest, I'll rate it 7. Not bad at all. Pero madaming kelangang ayusin, medyo mahaba talaga. Nasa bandang huli lang ang presence ni Optimus prime, pero maganda naman ang kanyang naging transformation.

Language, sexual scenes

Pangbata talaga ang transformers. Medyo kakaiba talaga ang part 2. They could make it fit to the younger audience if they just want to. Masyadong maraming scenes na malaswa at mga offensive words. Nagulat nga ako, kasi sa Part 1, hindi mo mariringgan si "Megan Fox" a.k.a. "mikaela" ng bad words, pero sa Part 2, parang nagtransform din bibig nya. hehehe anyway that's their play.

Lines

Maraming memorable lines katulad nung naging abo na ang "matrix" na gagamitin sana para mabuhay si "optimus prime". Medyo nagdududa na si "mikaela" kung magwo-work yun pero ang sabi ni Sam, "It will work, i believe". Marami pang iba, nakalimutan ko na. hehehe

Casting

Nagimprove naman si "Sam witwicky" (shia Lebouf) in terms of appearance, medyo okay na unlike nung Part 1 na talagang masasabi mong para syang lampa. Medyo bagay na rin sya kay "Mikaela" (Megan Fox) sa story. Si Megan Fox walang masyadong adventurous scene, kagaya ng sabi ni te baybee para lang syang wuss. hehehe anu ba yung wuss? Si "Lennox", bagay talaga sya sa role, nadala nya yung scene ng maayos nung pinapaniwala nya si "galloway" na kelangan nyang tumalon from the aircraft kasi may problema kahit wala naman. Grabe nakakatawa talaga yun, the V.I.P. must jump out the plane first.


So the overall rating, although i'm addicted to it, i'll just rate it 7.5 hehehe... epekto ng bad language and sexual scenes di ko talaga nagustuhan.

If I'll be connecting it to christian principles, Just like sam say, "it will work, I believe". A sample of strong faith. We Christians must posses same attitude like sam, especially that we're confident that someone up there will be just there helping us in our lives.
